It’s no secret that the dollar is on a downward spiral. Its value is dropping, and the Fed isn’t doing a whole lot to change that. As a result, a number of countries are considering a shift away from the dollar to preserve their assets. These are seven of the countries currently considering a move from the dollar, and how they’ll have an effect on its value and the US economy.

Iran, Zuid Korea, Rusland, China, Venezuela, Sudan. Tot zover landen waar de neocons toch al niet zo blij mee zijn, (en niet vanwege de mensenrechten) en waarvan Iran en Venezuela min of meer de kans lopen met kruisraketten en/of CIA-"revoluties" te maken te krijgen.

Maar dat Saudi Arabië hiertussen staat is opvallend. Saudi Arabië is een partner in Bush' war on terror, wat inhoudt dat het land de clash of civilizations van harte steunt door extremisten in Europa en Iran (financieel) te sponsoren. Wat de neocons, inclusief hun politieke vrienden in Nederland, zoals Geert Wilders, uiteraard goed uitkomt...

SA is ook het land dat niet werd aangevallen na 9/11, ondanks de vermeende Saudische kapers. Sterker nog, een elitair Saudisch clubje mocht per vliegtuig de VS verlaten, ondanks een totaal vliegverbod. Onder hen: leden van de familie Bin Laden.
