Report Says Nike Plant Workers Abused by Bosses in Indonesia

'Workers at nine of Nike's contract factories in Indonesia have witnessed verbal and physical abuse by supervisors against co-workers, and female employees being coerced into sex, according to a report released today by a nonprofit group.

Employees also complained of being forced to work overtime and of seeing assembly-line workers fondled by managers, the report by the Global Alliance said'

Of course Nike will start an internal 'inquiry', and the outcome will be that they are not the ones to blame...The contract factories are. So as a resolvement, NIKE will sign a new deal with a new abusive sweatshop holder. Welcome to the wonderful world of the free market!
