The candidates of the ruling United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) won in the states of Yaracuy, Delta Amacuro, Vargas, Apure, Aragua, Barinas, Bolivar, Cojedes, Falcon, Guarico, Lara, Merida, Monagas, Portuguesa, Trujillo, Sucre, Anzoategui and in the municipality of Libertador de Caracas.
