AIPAC cannot stomach any criticism of Israel and brands anyone who dares to speak up as an anti-Semite or a self-hating Jew.
Nearly everyone involved in Middle East politics knows that AIPAC wields unequaled power in the discussion. Just criticize Israel for its role in Middle East instability, and AIPAC will stop all dialogue under the rubrics I mentioned. This attitude demonstrates contempt for free speech and democratic ideals, the very ideals on which Israel was founded.
