Eerder deze maand verscheen de jaarlijkse Dreigingsinschatting van de Amerikaanse directeur van Nationale Inlichtingen, Michael McConnell. Het is een op schrift gestelde getuigenis voor de Inlichtingencommissie van de Amerikaanse Senaat die een inzicht geeft in de actuele visie van de belangrijkste inlichtingenadviseur van de president. In zijn getuigenis legt hij de nadruk op de Iraanse pogingen uranium te verrijken en de capaciteit van het land om lange-afstandswapens af te vuren. De combinatie hiervan wordt nu op het hoogste niveau gepresenteerd als centraal argument om Iran als gevaar voor de wereldvrede te brandmerken. Alsof de National Intelligence Estimate nooit heeft bestaan.

Israel's Mossad spy agency estimates Iran will develop a nuclear weapon within three years and continue to provide rockets to regional armed groups, a newspaper reported on Tuesday. Mossad director Meir Dagan, in an intelligence assessment presented to Israel's powerful foreign affairs and defence committee on Monday, said the Jewish state would face increased threats on all fronts, Maariv daily said. Dagan's estimate of Iran's nuclear ambitions differs sharply from an assessment by the US intelligence community late last year that said Iran had mothballed its nuclear weapons programme in 2003. NAVO en EU voor nieuwe sancties tegen Iran

vr 07/12/07 - De NAVO- en EU-landen vinden het te vroeg om de druk op Iran te verminderen. Ze zijn voor nieuwe sancties.

Dat heeft ontslagnemend minister van Buitenlandse Zaken Karel De Gucht (Open VLD) gezegd na een diner met zijn 31 ambtgenoten van de NAVO- en EU-lidstaten, gisteravond in Brussel.

Ook de Amerikaanse minister van Buitenlandse Zaken Condoleezza Rice (foto) wil de internationale druk op Iran opvoeren zodat het land zou stoppen met het verrijken van uranium.

Geen bewijs voor Iraanse kernwapens gevonden door IAEA

In tegenstelling tot wat Westerse media en andere propaganda uitingen willen doen geloven, is Iran niet bezig met het maken van kernwapens. Het IAEA-rapport is uit en is heel erg duidelijk. De IAEA is de zogenaamde atoomwaakhond.

De IAEA is niet tevreden dat Iran toch doorgaat met het maken van nucleaire brandstof (waar geen wapens van kunnen worden gemaakt) maar verder tevreden over dat wat ze hebben aangetroffen. Er is geen (GEEN) bewijs gevonden dat Iran uranium verrijkt voor wapendoeleinden. Iran werkt volledig (passief maar voldoende) mee aan de inspecties ook de onaangekondige inspectie konden hun doorgang vinden. Er worden geen inconsistenties gevonden tussen verklaringen van het regime en de daadwerkelijke bevindingen van de IAEA.

US, Israel refuse to cooperate with inquest into Syria strike

UN nuclear watchdog has no evidence Syria had nuclear facility

The International Atomic Energy Agency - the United Nations nuclear watchdog - has not been able to conduct an investigation into the events surrounding the Sept. 6 Israeli bombing of a Syrian military installation because neither the Bush administration nor Israel are cooperating.

A diplomatic source close to the Vienna based IAEA told Raw Story that both the United States and Israel have been approached by the organization requesting supporting evidence of a nuclear reactor which media sources have cited, based on anonymous sources in both governments, as the reason for the Israeli strike.

This week from 10-15 october, is the biggest terror exercise ever in the USA and internationally, combined with a Martial Law exercise.

French media told an Iran attack is planned for October 15th, for what one should need a (false flag) attack from the Iranians first.

Military sources and quality media have clearly stated that the goverment thinking is nuclear bunker busters.

Six nukes recently flew illegally/'erronomously' over the USA armed on a B52 bomber and where 'missing' for a day or so, at Barksdalke AFB (the station for Middel East). One of the six was even missing longer, as initial reports only encountered 5 atomic boms. Some theorise the 6th double missing USA nuke was meant for a false flag attack.

British newspaper the Sunday Telegraph claims that Members of the US secretariat in the UN have been asked to "search for things that Iran has done wrong", in order to justify military strikes against the country

Many observers claim the exercise is reminiscent of attempts by Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld to build the case for war with Iraq and expect it to boost support for an attack on Iran inside and outside the administration.

Concern is also being expressed in the CIA and the Pentagon that the US Administration exaggerated intelligence which was used as a basis for an Israeli air attack on Syria last month.

In a sign that U.N. Security Council-based diplomacy is losing steam, a number of sources are reporting that a military strike against Iran’s nuclear facilities may be imminent. France and America also are pushing for tighter economic sanctions against Tehran, without U.N. approval.

Yesterday’s edition of Le Canard Enchaîné, a French weekly known for its investigative journalism, reported details of an alleged Israeli-American plan to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities. The frontpage headline read: “A report sent to the Elysée — Putin tells Tehran: They’re going to bomb you!”
